[[Effects of the plague, warfare and changing climate on the population of eastern Normandy. Scholars have been able to recover detailed population on some parts of France. Largely from continuously kept church records. Matching this data with known historical events gives us a picture of how the population was effected. In this region, the population declined to 29% of it's 1314 peak by 1460.
