HYW Help Desk Chat

AOL users: Be aware that Internet programs such as Chat do not generally like names with spaces in them. So when you chat, if your screen name is J Smith 1, enter it as JSmith1.

The Help Desk offers three modes of access. Choose the one that's best for you:

  1. Easiest access: click here for a Java chat client connected to the HYW Help Desk.
  2. Faster access: for Windows 95/NT users try the demo of the Microsoft ActiveX Chat Control which will allow you to enter the help desk as well.
  3. Most customizeable: If you have an IRC client such as Microsoft Chat or mIRC, you may connect to the HYW Help Desk at www.hyw.com port 6667. The name of the room is #HYWHelpDesk.
