HYW Maps and Resources

There are a variety of game maps available for download. They vary in size, style, and format. Players are urged to find what combination of maps\utilities work best for their style of play and computer resources. Comments\suggestions regarding this page may be sent to hywdemibugs@hyw.com.
Arguably one of the best HYW maps is the now retired GFE. While the functionality of the GFE has been turned off, it may still be run in offline-mode. One of the main advantages to using the GFE map is that fiefs are searchable, via map menu, or ctrl-s keyboard shortcut. For those users unfamiliar with the HYW map, this search ability can help overcome the initial overwhelmed feeling one can get when searching the entire map for a single fief.
